Chattogram Port
Bangladesh's largest seaport is located in Chattogram. It handles more than 90% of all goods entering and leaving Bangladesh. The container capacity is 32,017 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units). The terminal handled nearly 50 million metric tons of import cargo and nearly 6 million metric tons of export cargo in 2015.
Inland Container Depot (Kamalapur, Dhaka)
Kamalapur's ICD (inland container depot) has been in operation since 1987. The depot is connected by rail to Chattogram port, which is approximately 300 kilometres away. The container capacity is 4067 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units).
Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (Dhaka)
Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, formerly known as Zia International Airport, was named after the Sufi saint. The airport handled over 248,000 metric tons of cargo in 2014.
