The Bangladesh Accord Foundation

The Bangladesh Accord Foundation verifies Desh Garments as a supplier who meets acceptable workplace conditions in the areas of factory inspection, remediation, health and safety, and worker training.

AFBWS (Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety)

AFBWS was founded by a group of North American clothing companies, brands, and retailers who came together to form the Bangladesh Worker Safety Initiative. The initiative is a five-year project aimed at improving worker safety in Bangladeshi garment factories. The Alliance's 27 member companies import the majority of Bangladesh's ready-made garment exports to North America from over 650 factories.

BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative)

BSCI is a business-led initiative that assists retailers, importers, and brands in improving workplace conditions. The initiative believes in long-term supply chains in which companies follow national labour laws and ILO Conventions that protect workers' rights. BSCI provides companies with a methodology (rather than an auditing or accreditation system) for improving workplace conditions.

WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production)

WRAP is based in the United States and has offices all over the world, including in Bangladesh. The 12 Principles of WRAP are based on ILO Conventions and address employee management, health and safety, and the environment. The WRAP Certification Program employs a monitoring and accreditation process to ensure that garments are manufactured in lawful and humane working conditions.
